AOP Grignan-les-Adhémar

White wine

Introduction: Deep in the Rhone Valley, there lies a secret garden : Grignan-les-Adhemar. Filled with the magic of Provence, the climate here grows milder, and the prevailing Mistral permits exceptionally high amount of sunshine, while the scenery is painted in shades of lavender, olive trees, cypress, pine and thyme. These floral and refreshing aromas can be found in the heart of the Grignan wines. 

Colour : White

Grape varieties:  85% Viognier, 10 % Marsanne, 5% Roussanne

Soil type: Clay-limestone

Vinification: Destalking, maceration through skin contact followed by bladder pressing. Fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel vats.

Alcoholic level: 13%

TASTING NOTES

Tasting notes:  Light yellow appearance with tinges of green, clear and bright. Intense aromas of peach, apricots, honey and dried fruits. A cool and refreshing wine in the mouth, supple and very aperitif.

Service temperature: 12°C to 14°C

Serving suggestion: Served best as an aperitif or to accompany crawfishes, trout, pikeperch.
